Reminder to Water Customers
Water meters will not be read November-March and should be packed to prevent winter freezing. During this time utility bills will reflect minimum water charges unless other arrangements have been made at City Hall, phone 524-4280.Consumption over the minimum will be billed when meters are read again in April. Customers will be billed for charges incurred to repair water meters not packed. Water meter packing inserts are available for $7.25 at City Hall.
Mandatory Water Conservation
The following mandatory water conservation measure is in effect:
Sprinkling of water on lawns, shrubs, trees, or gardens is restricted to Monday, Wednesday & Friday between the hours of 8 PM to 9 AM.
~ Watering is not permitted on other days of the week
~ No Refilling of Outdoor Residential Swimming Pools
~ (Violators will be given one warning.....second violation subject to citation.)
Dog Tags
City Dog Tags - Every owner of ANY dog over 6 months of age is required to register with the City Clerk's Office. Tags must be renewed annually and are available starting January 1st of each year.
Fees: $5 fee each for the first 2 dogs, $10 for each additional dog. After March 31st the cost is $10 fee each for the first 2 dogs, $20 for each additional dog.
Proof of current rabies vaccination is required.
Please report ANY sightings of these animals to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.
