Utility Service
The City of Lincoln is your Utility Company for all of the following Services: Electric, Water, Sewer, & Trash.

Electric Connections May be Made by Contacting City Hall. Electricity is billed based on usage. Bills are Payable on the first of each month. A 10% Penalty is added on all bills unpaid after the 10th of the month. $150 Deposit is required from renters of residential property. (Call for deposit requirements on commercial property.)
Water Connections May be Made by Contacting City Hall. Water is billed based on usage. Water Meters are not read throughout the winter. $30 Deposit is required from renters of residential property. (Call for deposit requirements on commercial property.) Each customer is asked to pack their water meter to prevent freezing. Water meter inserts are available at City Hall for $7.25 each.
A residential sewer charge of $13.00 is assessed to all residential services. Businesses may contact City Hall to find out the appropriate sewer charge for the business.
A trash collection charge of $14.85* is assessed to all residential services. Trash pickups are made on Monday mornings for residences on the WEST side of Fourth Street and on Tuesday mornings on the EAST side of Fourth Street. You may place your trash at the curb in either bags or 30 gal containers or less.
