Animal Shelter

The City of Lincoln Center Animal Shelter is located at 406 W South St., next to the City Shop.  Lincoln Co Police Department is responsible for Ordinance enforcement.  Paying fees for impoundments, dog tags and adoptions are conducted at the City Hall.

Information Regarding Dog Tags: 

City Dog Tags

Every owner of ANY dog over 6 months of age is required to register with the City Clerk's Office.  Tags must be renewed annually and are available starting January 2nd of each year. 

Fees

• $5.00 fee for the 1st 2 dogs
• $10.00 fee for each additional dog
• After March 31, the cost is $10.00 fee for the 1st 2 dogs and $20.00 fee for each additional dog.

Proof of current rabies vaccination is required. 

The Lincoln Center Shelter works hand-in-hand with the Lincoln Area Humane Society.
